Transform data into consumable reports and dashboards for the lines of business leveraging analytics platforms and business information tools to provide actionable insights that improve business outcomes.
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Lead and coordinate the benchmark reporting, regulatory reporting, and other strategic reporting and information needs for the line of business.
2. Support and lead, as needed, the creation of the financial and performance measurement reporting including financial statement analyses comprising product level P&L(s) and financial comparisons for overall portfolio management to enable understanding of the state of the portfolios leading to actionable recommendations for the line of business.
3. Write data programming code and query data sets and/or database tables in a variety of environments to source financial and product data.
4. Produce compelling data visualizations using Business Information (BI) tools to communicate insights for a wide array of stakeholders across the line of business.
5. Support the data scientist activities including data mapping to and from source systems and identify key systems where data is sourced and data fields required for development of performance measurement reporting, as needed.
6. Be an advocate to drive the adoption of technology including BI Tools to deepen analytics and reporting insights for improving on how we deliver information and reporting.
7. Perform ad-hoc analysis and data pulls to support ongoing data and information needs for management and respond to any queries about performance measurements.
8. Be a liaison and partner with financial accounting to support the data and reporting needs for monthly and quarterly reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Analytics, Data Science or related quantitative degree and 3 to 6 years of experience in the financial services industry or related field.
2. Strong familiarity with data extraction using programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, or TOAD).
3. Ability to communicate complex information in straightforward situations.
4. Must have a ONE-TEAM mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in the banking industry.
2. Familiarity with business information tools (e.g., MicroStrategy and Tableau).
