The Channels Administrator, is a mid-level communications professional role, that is responsible for the daily operations of our internal communications platform. They are the connector between Corporate Communications and Enterprise Technology, as well as other key partners (HR, Experience Design, Marketing, etc.) to keep the enterprise focused on leveraging the intranet as an essential tool to connect, align, and achieve business objectives.
The role reports to the Director, Brand & Teammate Communications Strategy. The position requires the ability to understand business, technology, and design priorities and strategic impacts to deliver brand-defining teammate experiences, but concentrates on the day-to-day details of tactical execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain and manage the intranet’s central administration (e.g. content calendar), including partner platforms (i.e. Qumu; Enterprise Video), and a steady drumbeat of engaging news (BAU to PMV and TVP), maintain the intranet’s visual aesthetic, work with site owners and content contributors across the organization, monitor analytics to gauge what content is working, and hold the keys to the intranet’s core administration.
- Monitor progress toward the intranet’s charter and goals.
- Establish intranet governance strategy and roadmap
- Enforce publishing standards across all channels
- Maintain and project manage the master content calendar for company-wide news and hold content contributors accountable for their deadlines
- Review and assess analytics with LOB content contributors, site administrators, and communications partners in an effort to continuously improve the teammate experience when consuming corporate communications
- Drive the progress toward the implementation of the internal communications platform and the integration points with the Truist Intranet.
- Support the execution of the overall intranet roadmap (e.g., LoB site development; technical upgrades)
- Advocate for adoption of the intranet and other communication platforms
- Gather start/stop/continue feedback from teammates
2. Collaborate with key, cross-functional stakeholders to align on business objectives in order to establish a governance and delivery roadmap that supports business goals
3. Leverage embedded analytics to understand the site functionality and content is thriving, content that needs to be archived or sunset, and what content and/or functionality is in demand but does not exist
4. Design, develop and distribute content, edit content, manager user access, maintain brand identity, and determine front page news content.
5. Collaborate and engage key stakeholders, including lines of business, operations, and other functional areas in the planning and execution of projects.
6. Obtain partner alignment and approvals including legal, compliance, security, fraud and others as needed.
7. Provide support to LoB contributors and site managers on how to use the intranet platform and tools; train LOB site managers and content contributors on the system and publishing guidelines
8. Ensure the intranet environment delivers on its charter (e.g., teammate engagement; collaboration)
9. Partner with internal teams to create teammate facing content.
10. Ghostwrite critical, enterprise level content as needed and ensure strategic internal communications are aligned and current
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors’ degree in Communications, Marketing, or Technology; or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
2. Five or more years of banking, financial services, or other relevant work experience
3. Three or more years deploying internal communications or managing a web-based technology like an intranet
4. Three or more years of leading cross functional teams
5. Equal enthusiasm for high-level strategic planning and tactical daily execution
6. Experience defining/driving vision of experience programs and/or partnership based programs; align online channels with organizational strategy as digital representations of company culture and strategy
7. Experience defining and delivering large-scale online initiatives
8. Proven ability to use data analytics, research and testing methodologies to drive business decisions, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues
9. Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
10. Comfortable managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment
11. Comfortable with ambiguity, leading work autonomously, and making independent decisions
12. Excellent skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation
13. Experience in roles requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills & the creation and delivery of succinct presentations to explain and sell plans/vision
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience working as a key partner with Agile team(s)
2. Experience working with distributed teams (onshore/offshore)
3. Experience supporting corporate, enterprise-level internal communications and content delivery
4. Experience in Financial Services industry, or agency experience
