The Truist Securities Investment Banking Sophomore Symposium provides high-performing college sophomores with an introduction to Investment Banking and our firm. We invite you to apply to attend our engaging, one-week program where you will:
- Participate in a summit-style experience that will introduce you to Truist Securities, our teammates and executive leaders, and future career opportunities in Investment Banking at Truist.
- Attend professionally designed learning sessions focusing on technical skills required in the workplace.
- Showcase your skills and knowledge learned in a capstone presentation at the end of the week.
What we're looking for
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed sophomore year of a BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation of December 2022 or May 2023
- Overall GPA of 3.0
- Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
Preferred Requirements:
- Business major
- Prior exposure to Accounting or Finance coursework
- High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
- Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
Summit Location and Date
- Symposium dates: May 24 – May 28, 2021
- Program sessions will be scheduled from 8:00-5:00pm each day.
- The program will be held virtually through Truist’s online meeting platform.
